Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, meet and greet by our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Visit the city center, Sule Pagoda and colonial buildings. Overnight in Yangon.

 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Mandalay. Visit Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill for sunset views over the city. Overnight in Mandalay

Visit Amarapura, U Bein Bridge is the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world. Continue sightseeing and experience local culture and traditional handicrafts. Overnight in Mandalay.

Drive to Bagan through the scenic central plains of Myanmar. Upon arrival, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda Temple and Dhammayangyi Temple. Enjoy sunset over the ancient temple landscape. Overnight in Bagan.

After breakfast, take an excursion to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano known as the spiritual home of Myanmar’s Nats (guardian spirits). Climb to the monastery atop the volcanic peak and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Return to Bagan and continue sightseeing at local villages and handicraft workshops. Overnight in Bagan.

After breakfast, transfer to Nyaung U Airport for a domestic flight to Yangon. Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, one of Yangon’s most popular shopping destinations for local handicrafts, gems and souvenirs. Continue to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda (Reclining Buddha). In the evening, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most iconic landmark. Overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast, transfer to Yangon International Airport.
